Problem:
The client is unable to change the site title to match different languages using the standard WordPress settings, as it remains in English regardless of the selected language.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Look for the 'WP Domain' or use the search box to find the site title.
3. Enter the translations for the site title as needed.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to change the site title to match the languages on my website. but it keeps shows in English. regardless what language i select.
I accessed Dashboard > Settings > General to change the name but it fails. could you please help me with this? Thank you

Symptoms:
The site title is not changing as expected.

Questions:
How can I change the site title to match different languages?
Why is the site title not updating after changing it in the settings?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. To translate the site title, please try to follow the below steps:

1. Go to the WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Choose the WP Domain or search the site title from the search input box as you can see in the attached screenshot.
3. Add the translation.

Hi Noman,

Thank you for your help. i followed your instructions but still not showing the right translation.

For the Domain. i only have WP(1) not (2). when i accessed String Translation page. it was already showing me that the String already translated. not sure what else i can do.
