Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a template from English to Japanese on my site hidden link. The theme I am using is Spectra One. I am unsure if the issue is with the theme or with WPML. If it can't be solved, I might switch to another multilingual plugin.

Symptoms:
The translated template does not show on my Japanese site.

Questions:
Is the issue with the Spectra One theme or WPML?
How can I resolve the issue of the translated template not showing?

Can you create one custom template, assign to some page and translate, do you see the same issue here as well?

No, I create an "all categories" template. And the blocks are copied from my website.
It works when I translate it to Germany.
I can see it in my Germany template...

So what's the problem with my website's WPML....

Right, same operation, different result.
So I think it may not be the issue of the compatibility between WPML and Spectra?

The French version seems to be working properly:

I tried changing the slug and retranslating both the page and the template, but only the Japanese version at

still doesn’t work.

Can you confirm this, or are there any other URLs where it fails?

Also, could you please install this plugin so we can check something directly in the database?

Sure. I already install this plugin now.

Seems to work for JA now, but I really don't know why it happened to work.
It seems very random for the template translation success.

If I create a Korean site and try to translate the "front page" template again, it still does not work. So I thought it still have problem with the template translation workflow

I am still investigating this with the Tier 2 team at the moment.

The resolution timeframe can vary depending on the nature and complexity of the issue — some cases can be resolved fairly quickly, while others may require more in-depth analysis and coordination across teams. I will keep you updated as we progress, and I’ll let you know as soon as there’s any development.

To troubleshoot this problem, I'll install the Duplicator plugin and generate packages for further debugging purposes. I'll ensure to exclude all media files to maintain a minimal package size.
