Hello There, I understand the issue you're having. Instead of sending such a large batch of items for translation, please test with a smaller set to see if the issue persists. For example, choose 10 strings from the String Translation and try to send them to Crowdin for translation. If you still encounter the same issue, please try the following steps and check if that helps. - Please go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting I hope it will help. But if the issue persists even after that, please let me know. I will directly forward this matter to the respective team for further investigation. Best Regards, |

Hi Prosenjit, thanks for reply. I did test with 10 strings beforehand. That works just fine. My issue is that I have 6000 strings across 5 languages, so I need an approach from WPML, given that WPML does not seem to control or manage the volume itself. So please be totally clear: 1) How can I drop the jobs that failed to complete so I can (starter) try to translate them again? (perhaps this is the "Refresh Translation Services" function you mention) 2) What approach should I adopt to translate approx. 6000 strings multiplied by 5 languages when using Crowd In translation service so that this situation does not occur again AND without having it take years (i.e. 10 string at a time is NOT feasible at all. Would 1000 x 5 languages work? More or less?) Thanks in advance, James |

Hello James, If the smaller set is successfully reaching Crowdin, it's possible that Crowdin has some limitations on the number of strings it can accept for translation at once. Please find the answers to your questions below. - Please be informed that it is not possible the cancel the Translation jobs from WPML that are already sent to the translation service, as mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/professional-translation-via-wpml/how-to-use-translation-service/#canceling-jobs If they aren't sent or are somehow canceled, WPML will automatically delete them. To verify whether the Translation jobs are still available or not, navigate to the "WPML > Translation Management > Jobs" tab. - As I'm not aware of the limitation set in Crowdin, we can try this way- If you encounter the issue again, please go to "WPML > Support" and scroll down to the "Remote XML Config Log" section. There, click on the "Communication Log" link, copy the log recorded there, and share that in the next response. We will check and let you know what to do next. Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best Regards, |
