  1. Kindly ask since there is no trial version and if I got issues using the WPML plugin, under which condition I may request for refund? Thanks!

  3. Hi! I’m interested in buying WPML but I’m not sure if this will work. I have a blog example.com and I want to setup the same lang (spanish) but for different countries, so this would be es-ES for Spain, es-CL for Chile, and so on. Can the plugin do this and if so, how? The idea is to have it as example.com/es-ES/ and example.com/es-CL/ and so on.

    Thanks!

  4. Hi,

I need to contact someone regarding our account, can’t seem to find anywhere to talk to someone.

Could you email me best contact address.

    Thanks

  5. i. I am trying to update my WPML plugins, but keep receiving error message stating download failed. It says download not available. I believe I have a lifetime subscription. I have version 3.9.1 of Multilingual CMS and cannot upgrade to next version.

    Help please.

    • Hello Gregory,
I see you have a lifetime subscription like you say. Can you please try clicking the button “Check for updates” or “validate subscription”. You will find it in the wp-admin> Plugins> Add new> tab Commercial. If this does not help try unregistering and registering your site again. This should work.
      Let me know please.

  6. My company opened an account with the wrong e-mail. Therefore we haven’t been able to log in or retrieve our password. Is there anything you can do to assist?

  7. We have an old version of WPML running on two sites and I want/need to upgrade to the newer version of WPML. I see that the Multilingual CMS version allows for 3 websites – so this is good; however, we also run testsites for both of our sites at different URL’s – testsite.drummondco.com and testsite.drummondltd.com – so this would really mean that I will have four installs of WPML – two of which will really be TEST sites and not production sites.

Not being familiar with your registration/licensing, before I did anything, I wanted to make sure which version I should purchase – the Multilingual CMS or the Multilingual Agency.

We will only be running the WPML plugin on two production sites – http://www.drummondco.com and http://www.drummondltd.com – at least for now. There is the possibility of another domain for another company…but that has yet to be decided. If we create the third production site – it too would have a testsite associated with it.

    Thank you!
    Grant Hall

    • Hello Grant,
Thanks for your interest. You should get the CMS version. You can use WPML plugins on the development site without registering them,. The subscription key is only needed to receive updates automatically. You are also welcome to register them first and then delete it and register the live url.

Let me know if you have any further question.

      Kind regards,

      • Mercedes:

I went to purchase WPML using my bosses p-card – but the card is being declined. I am using the Alternative method since I do not want to associate her card with my PayPal account. I have verified that her name is correct, the card number is correct, the expiry, and the CVC…so I am not sure why the card is being declined – but my boss says the card is good and we should have no issues with the card, she uses it all of the time.

Any thoughts on how I might proceed?

        Thank you!
        Grant

        • Hi Grant,
You may need to authorize this online transaction with the credit card company. Can you get in touch with them about this? YOu may also try from a different browser.
          Let me know?
          Thanks

  8. I have just Created an account to be able to contact a wpml Contractor, but I am not able to login. A confirmation of my account creation was sent to me by email, but I still have no possibility to login because there are no Password option.

    • Hello Katherine,
All the websites that have ATE (Advanced Translation Editor) actiavted during the beta period will be able to use it for free forever.

  9. Thanks for your response. I am now able to login. Few more pre-purchase questions. What are the different features between the Multilingual CMS to the Multilingual Agency? Do they both have the same features? Meaning if purchase the Multilingual CMS, that I am going to get the same complete features included in the Multilingual Agency?

    • Yes, the set of plugins is these two packages is exactly the same. The only difference is in the number of websites you will be able to register.

    • Hello Trevor,

      Kind regards,

  10. Buenos días,

    Gracias, un saludo

    • Hello Oran,
Yes, we sell yearly subscriptions with automatic renewals. In any case you are welcome to log in to your account and cancel the automatic renewal if you are not interested. You can keep using the files you have installed but you will lose access to updates and support.

  11. Is it true I have to buy WPML Agency (100 dollars extra a year) in order to get WPML working with Beaver builder? The website states that I need string translation and translation management for this.

    Sincerely,
    Gijs

  12. Good Morning – I see that after purchasing, there is an annual “Account renewal per year” of $59; Is that mandatory for my WPML to continue to function?

Also, I am using the WooCommerce Storefront theme on my WordPress site: Any compatibility problems?

    Thanks

    • Hello Tim,
Thanks for your interest in WPML. To answer your question: no, it’s mandatory. The plugins that you have installed will continue working even if you don’t renew your subscription but you will lose access to future versions and our support form.

Yes, we are compatible with the Storefront theme:
      https://wpml.org/theme/storefront/

    • Hello Jan,
I’m sorry but we don’t. We used to have it but no longer have. You would need to use the same offer that we have for all regular customers.

  13. Hi Agnes,
I’m sorry, but I feel like you are not understanding my question.
I did not ask whether it has been tested for compatibility, but whether I would need the CMS or the Blog one. In asking my question I hope you looked into the theme I am interested in, to understand that no one would buy this to blog with it.

    • Hello,
yes, it will, that’s the point of creating multilingual websites instead of letting users translate the website themselves by using automatic translators on the fly. If you care about SEO, your site should provide translations made by humans. WPML helps you to create posts/pages etc in more than one language but you insert the translation yourself. WPML also provides machine translations but these should be edited by a human to ensure the good quality.

  14. Hello,

I have a question regarding your wpml component. If I buy Multilingual Agency, my plugins aren’t available for updates all the time? I asked because I saw on the link from Purchase 1 year on free updates.

    Thanks

    • Hello Alexandru,
that’s correct. They won’t be available for updates all the time. To get access to future updates you will need to renew your subscription after the first year. It will happen automatically (unless you cancel your subscription manually and you have funds on your PayPal/credit card). We don’t have Lifetime subscriptions.

  15. hi,

will this plugin translate a site from English to Thai? It will be an ecommerce site using woo commerce so i need the ‘add to cart’ buttons, and all other woo features translated during the checkout process etc.

Will multi lingual blog version do all this?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Nick,
do you need to run your website in two languages or only in one? If you need to have it in only one language, you don’t need WPML at all. You can translate your strings to Thai using the Loco Translate plugin. But if you need to run your site in at least two languages (let’s say in English and also in Thai), then the answer is yes, you can use WPML – you will need the CMS version (the Blog version doesn’t have all features for WooCommerce sites)

    • Hello,
please note that WPML doesn’t translate your site automatically and you provide translations. And this is exactly what will help your site to appear in search engines. WPML has machines translations as well, which need to be approached by a human manually. To answer your question, yes, when you use WPML and provide good quality translations your site will appear in Google in the languages that you set up.

  16. Dear WPML,

I would like to buy the multilingual CMS, but if i have well understood, once bought, the plugin is lifetime. But if i want support and updates, i need to renew each year the subscription isn’it ?

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards,
    Saolinh

    • Hello, yes, you understood it correctly. You can use the plugin for as long as you want but updates and support requires an active account, which means renewing each year.

  17. Hello. I have set up a WPML sandbox on pindemo.com

I set up a WPML-sandbox on pindemo.com and took a look at the plugin. But there are still some questions open and I hope you can answer them for me.

I have a shop with WooCommerce where I mainly offer eBooks. So they are varibale products with downloads. In the additional language the corresponding language of the eBooks would also have to be offered for download. Is this supported by WPML?

In the sandbox I could not assign a product image of my own to a translated product. With eBooks, however, it would be good if the corresponding cover was displayed as a product image in the respective language. Is this possible with WPML?

    Cheers, Frank

    • Hello Frank,
could you please open a thread in our support forum? This is where we are helping WPML users with technical questions. WPML is fully compatible with WooCommerce and what you can do in one language, should work in the other languages.
