This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client enabled the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) on a site that previously used the Classic Translation Editor (CTE). They configured it to keep old CTE translations, only use ATE for new translations, and publish them without review. However, after restoring a backup and re-enabling ATE, the translations were stuck at 'In Progress' and not being published.
Solution:
We resolved the issue by cancelling and resending the specific translation task (in this case, from Dutch to Portuguese) for automatic translation. This action should resolve the publishing delay.

If you're experiencing similar issues with ATE translations not being published, we recommend trying to cancel and resend the translation tasks. If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check for related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify you have the latest versions of themes and plugins, and confirm the version of the permanent fix. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I enabled the ATE on a site that previously used the CTE. I configured it to keep old CTE translations, only use the ATE on new translations, and publish them without review. I restored a backup from before I enabled the ATE and fixed everything that came up in the previous two tickets before enabling the ATE again.

Symptoms:
ATE translations are stuck at 'In Progress' and are not being published.

Questions:
I enabled the ATE on a site that previously used the CTE. I configured it to keep old CTE translations, only use the ATE on new translation and publish them without review. They are translated but not being published. See this screen recording: hidden link

This issue happened before, it was fixed with this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-accept-all-ate-translations/
But there were more issues resulting in this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-previous-translations-created-with-cte-are-opening-in-ate/

In the end I restored a backup from before I enabled the ATE and I fixed everything that came up in the previous two tickets and then enabled the ATE again. Now the original problem of ATE translations not being published is back and needs to be fixed.

Thanks
JP

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I'm trying to login using existing access information from the previously resolved ticket to check for the issue, so I can request my team again for a fix. But I'm seeing a blocked access - see attached.

I've enabled your next reply as private again, in case you want to share new access information.

Thank you for the updates, I was able to login and can see 1 job stuck for Menukaart page (from Dutch to Portugees). I cancelled it and sent again but your site is somehow being blocked in our servers.

I unblocked it but as soon as there's a new job, it is blocked again.

So I'm checking with my team and 'll update you accordingly.

Besides this, I so far don't see the initial problem being kicked in. But lets wait for this unblocking to get resolved and I'll verify again.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

This issue should be fixed now and I've cancelled and sent again the Menukaart for automatic translation (from Dutch to Portuguese) which is completed as well.

Please check and confirm and feel free to close this ticket.
