Symptoms:
Automatic string translation is not working, which used to work previously. I also could not find the option to select multiple strings for translation as described in the documentation.
Questions:
Why is automatic string translation not working?
Where can I find the option to select multiple strings for translation?
- Go to WP Dashboard > WPML > String Translation
- Select the strings that you want to translate
- Scroll down and click the button to send the strings to automatic translation.
- Go to WP Dashboard > WPML > Translations
- You will see an item in the list that contains the strings package
- Click the translate button next to them and they should be translated automatically.
Also, please check WP Dashboard > WPML > Translation Management and make sure you have enough credits for translation and the automatic translation is enabled.
