[Resolved] How do I swap my site logo based on selected language.
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client wants to change the site logo based on the selected language but is unable to do so. The logo remains the same when switching languages on their website. Solution: We recommend using the WPML String Translation to manage different logos for different languages. First, identify the name or the media ID of your logo image by navigating to WordPress backend > Media. Then, use the guide on finding strings that don't appear on the String Translation page to search for your logo image or its media ID. Depending on your theme, you may need to translate either the link of the image or the ID to the translated version of the logo.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket on our support forum.

Background of the issue:
I want a different site logo based on the chosen language. I am trying to swap my site logo based on the selected language. The issue can be seen at: hidden link
Symptoms:
The logo remained the same when I switched from hidden link to hidden link.
Questions:
How can I change the site logo based on the selected language?
Why is the logo not changing when I switch languages?
Depending on how the theme is written, you have to translate either the link of the image or the ID (use the ID of the image with the translated version of the logo).
Mihai, thanks for the info but I'm still unable to figure out how to switch our corporate logo on top of all pages from hidden link to hidden link based on whether the viewer is on hidden link or hidden link. Where are these settings in WPML? I looked at the documentation but could not find the steps required. Can you please provide me the steps, instead of pointing me to documentation, please?
I would like to kindly request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site in order to examine the issue thoroughly. The necessary fields can be found below the comment area. When you log in to leave your next reply, please be assured that the information you enter is private and will only be visible to you and me.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will thoroughly review various settings in the backend to determine if the issue can be resolved. While I will not make changes that affect the live site, it is still advisable to back up the site before granting us access. Should further debugging be necessary, I will create a duplicate and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid any impact on the live site.
- Before granting us access, please ensure that the site files and database are backed up.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, please refrain from posting your website details, as they will be made public. Kindly request I enable the private box if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. You can find the private box by following this link: hidden link
I'm not able to grant you access to WP Admin or FTP due to security reasons.
What I would like is to get on a call with someone from your organization so I can ask some questions on how your tool works. I haven't found any of your documentation useful in answering any specific questions that I've had, which is why I've opened up various tickets. This ticketing method is not solving any of my issues and I'd like to speak with someone directly. I've recently purchased the WPML tool and need a proper onboarding on it's use.
Please have someone at sales contact me so I can speak with someone directly or I will be cancelling your service due to lack of support.
Here is my number so you can contact me. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, so that you can time the call according to my time zone. It's mountain standard time.
We offer support exclusively through live chat or by submitting a support ticket on our technical support forum.
If you would like to book a Zoom call for an introduction to WPML or to ask some general questions, you can do so here, at the bottom of this page (https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/). However, for technical issues that require debugging, please use either the live chat or the support forum.
For effective technical debugging, we will need access to your site—either the live version or a copy in a testing environment. Alternatively, providing us with a local copy of your site would also work.
If you would like to have a live chat session instead of opening a support ticket, please mark this ticket as resolved and then go to this link (https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/) and select "Report a new issue."
If there are any available spots in the live chat queue at that moment, you will be given that option. However, if no agents are available for live chat, your request will automatically be converted into a support ticket. That is how our system operates.
I would also like to inform you that the highest availability for live chat is from Monday to Friday, within the European time zone. Please note that fewer agents are available during the weekend.
