Background of the issue:
I used the WPML–Matecat integration to translate a website from EN to SK. The jobs were sent directly from WPML to Matecat, translated, and then pulled back to the website via WPML. We switched to the classic editor because the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) causes WPML to ignore our translated jobs and show MT translations instead.

Symptoms:
When trying to import the translated XLIFFs from Matecat into WPML, I get an error message saying we are not the owner of the job.

Questions:
What does it mean when we get an error message saying we are not the owner of the job?
Why does this limitation exist?
How can we import the translated XLIFF files into WPML?

For example, take this page:
hidden link

When I open it within CTE using this link:
hidden link
—I see Slovak translations.

Are these not the ones you received from Matecat? If not, do you know who translated them?

Or, if they are the Matecat translations, is the issue that a different translation shows up in hidden link? If that’s the case, could you share a few examples (with screenshots if possible) so I can take a closer look?
