This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is configuring WPML and wants to skip or disable the 'AI translation' options during the setup process.
Solution:
If you're experiencing the same issue and wish to disable AI translation in WPML, we recommend you follow these steps:
1) Navigate to WPML > Translation Dashboard and ensure the 'Translate Everything automatically' option is turned off.
2) Go to the Advanced Translation Editor, click on the settings at the top right, and disable the 'Translate all content automatically when the editor is opened' option.
3) In WPML > Translation Tools > Automatic translation engines, disable all automatic translation engines.
4) Check WPML > Translation Tools > Who can use Automatic Translation? and ensure that no admin or translator is enabled for automatic translation.
After completing the Setup Wizard by entering all required information, these steps will help you avoid any automatic translations.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. Symptoms:
I don't want 'AI translation' and need to know how to skip or disable it.

Questions:
How can I skip the 'AI translation' step in WPML configuration?
How do I completely disable 'AI translation' in WPML?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

If you do not wish to use automatic translation, you can take the following steps:

1) Make sure that on WPML > Translation Dashboard, the option "Translate Everything automatically" is turned off.

2) On the Advanced Translation Editor, click on the settings on the top right and disable the first option "Translate all content automatically when the editor is opened".

3) On WPML > Translation Tools > Automatic translation engines, disable all automatic translation engines.

4) On WPML > Translation Tools > Who can use Automatic Translation? Make sure that any admin or translator is enabled for automatic translation.

These are basically the only steps you need to take to avoid automatic translation. You can use WPML > Translation Dashboard to create jobs and assign them to yourself or other users of the website, who can then access these jobs at WPML > Translation.

Let me know if you have any further doubts or questions.

Best regards
Andreas

Ok, so there's no way to skip the Step 4 of the wizard configuration?
Am I still required to enter the requested information even if I do not intend to use the AI translation?

Thanks

Indeed, the Setup Wizard will need to be completed before you will be able to use WPML.

Please enter all the required information inside the Setup Wizard and complete it. Then take the steps mentioned in my prior comment to avoid any automatic translations.

Ok, then I'll enter those info, even if I don't really need to. But I have to say it's a bit frustrating, please add the option to skip this step.

Thanks
