Tudor

I have recently moved to using ATE on an existing site and I am looking at enabling the Media Translation plugin. I was trying to go through the configuration phase for existing content (under Settings -> Media Translation -> Start), the translation phase is done ok but then for duplicating content a huge number of items if shown (250.000) vs the real number (10.000).

The process starts but times out after a while given it would take ages to complete with 250k items, which don't exist. I have tried to do some troubleshooting (Clear cache, remove ghost entries, etc.) but that doesn't seem to have helped. I haven't gone through everything though.

Thanks

Hi there,

I will add the first reply before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

The number you see is the database entries that WPML Media translation needs to enter to handle the media translation.

Each image has a few database entries for each language to make things work correctly.

I suggest that you increase the PHP execution time on your server to above 300 seconds and see if it helps.

Thanks.
