This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was trying to switch from a pay-as-you-go model to using existing prepaid credits for automatic translation on their website. After re-adding the website, it incorrectly deducted 60k credits and continued to show as pay-as-you-go, despite attempts to use prepaid credits.
Solution:
1. We confirmed that the pay-as-you-go subscription was canceled in our system, but an open bill was still pending. The client needed to access the payment via a provided Stripe link to process the payment.
2. We transferred the credits from the old site URL to the new one after confirming the relationship between the old and new URLs.
3. The billing team eventually canceled the old bill, allowing us to deduct the cost from the available pre-purchased credits.
4. The client should now be able to use automatic translation with the prepaid credits. If further issues arise, we recommend visiting our support forum for assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to automatically translate three pages on my website visitbulgaria.com. I noticed that the previous organization was using the pay-as-you-go model, and I wanted to switch to using my existing prepaid credits. I followed a guide to remove the website from my list and add it again as a new website, expecting it to use my prepaid credits.

Symptoms:
After removing and re-adding the website, it took 60k credits but still shows as pay-as-you-go. When I attempted to translate automatically, it said I don't have enough credits, and the website is still showing as using pay-as-you-go instead of prepaid credits.

Questions:
Why did the website take 60k credits but still show as pay-as-you-go?
How can I switch my website to use prepaid credits instead of pay-as-you-go?

I added 2 screenshots -> one before the whole proccess of adding my page again and one aftter it took the credits and still website is using pay-as-you-go

Hello,

To cancel the Pay-As-You-Go subscription, you need to go to WPML > Translation Dashboard > Translation Tools.

For hidden link the subscriptions seem to be canceled on our system, but there is still one open bill that needs to be canceled.

You can access the payment here:
hidden link

Question:
Is hidden link the old site URL of hidden link? There are still 249416 credits available on the old organisation. I can assign them to hidden link, if you wish?

Best regards
Andreas

Hello.
Yes, visitbulgaria.com is the new url of the same site as bulgariatravel.org. I would love if you can transfer the credits to the new website.
I followed where you told me to go, but i cannot find how to cancel that bill/payment. All i see there is this.
This payment was before our clients started working with us, so we are not sure whos payment this is. Can you cancel it on your side?
Thank you in advance for the help!

My apologies, but we can not cancel open bills for the usage of automatic translation credits in this case.

The link I shared should bring you, after a few seconds, to a Stripe Payment dialog, where you can enter a credit/debit card and process the payment.

Please inform your client about this open payment, as it needs to be canceled in order to be able to keep using the automatic translation.

The credits from the old site URL have been moved to the new site URL.

The credits from the old site URL have been moved to the new site URL. At this point in time, the system deducted 54184 credits, as those are still open to be paid.

I tried to cancel the debt at this moment, but it did not work. It seems to be a kind of edge case.

I would be really ideal if you could ask the client to complete the payment and then get back to me, so that I can credit you the missing credits.

Hello,
So basically we need to PAY the bill to procceed further? if not, how could we tell our clients to "cancel" this payment, like you said?

Hi Teodor,

Honestly, at the moment, I am not sure how it behaves due to the fact that you actually have pre-paid credits, and the system has already deducted 54,184 credits due to the unpaid bill.

Are you currently able to use credits for automatic translation?

If so, I could try to speak to my supervisor, and maybe we can find a solution without the need to pay the bill.

Alternative:
Usually, the client will need to complete the payment in order to proceed with automatic translation. The Stripe link I shared should open a payment dialog after a few seconds.

Once the payment is processed, I’ll be able to credit the remaining 54,184 to the site.

Best regards,
Andreas

Hello,
I still cannot use the automatic translation because of this payment. Since the credits were deducted, our client said that they wouldnt want to pay for something, they already paid credits for. Whats the best approach here? I will send you screenshots of how my profile looks and how i still cannot change it from the pay-as-you-go to prepaid credits.

The team is still working on it.

I am waiting for the billing team for confirmation if they were able to solve the issue on their end.

The billing team has canceled the old bill, as we deducted the cost from the available pre-purchased credits.

The issue should be fixed now, and you should be able to use automatic translation. In case you run into further issues, please let me know.
