This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to translate the site logo and icon using Media Translation for BuddyX theme.

Solution:
This is for the BuddyX theme:
1. Navigate to WordPress > Media Library and click on the image used for the logo to find the image ID in the browser address bar.
2. Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity and select the image to ensure the theme saves the image ID.
3. Access WPML > String Translation and click on "Translate texts in admin screens »". Search for the image ID and select the results, then click "Add to String Translation".
4. Upload the translated image to the media library and note its ID from the browser address bar.
5. In String Translation, input the ID of the translated image as the translation for the original image ID.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Hi there,

As you were disconnected from the chat I turned the chat to a ticket and give you the solution:

If you go to WordPress > Media Library and click on the image you used for the logo you will see a number added at the end of the browser address bar. (Check the Screenshot)

That is the ID of the image in the WordPress Media Library. As soon as you select that image from Appearance > Customize > Site Identity, the BuddyX theme saves the ID of that image.

Now if you go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > String Translation and scroll down and click the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link, you can search for that ID and you will see a few results.

Select them and click "Add to String Translation".

Then go back to the string translation and you will see the IDs available for translation.

The next thing is to go to the media library and upload the image you want to use instead in the translated language. Click on it in the media library and check your browser address bar to get the ID of that image.

In the string translation, add the ID of the translated image as the translation of the original ID and that should fix the issue to translate the logo of the website.

For other questions related to multi-site please open up another chat.

Thank you.
