This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client uploaded new products in the primary language (English) but they did not appear in the secondary language (Arabic). Additionally, attempts to translate these new products into Arabic were unsuccessful, despite the translations being added in the backend.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Navigate to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting.
2. Execute the following actions:
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations
3. Edit one of the products in the original language by making a minor modification (e.g., add or remove a word in the description).
4. Update the product.
5. Open the translation and complete the translation again.
After completing these steps, please verify if the problem persists.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
