You are trying to enable automatic translation for Chinese (Simplified) in WPML, but the target language does not support automatic translations.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Chinese simplified should be preconfigured and mapped for automatic translation, except when using Google as translation engine (please see hidden link for details).

However, to understand your setup, may I ask for the debug information of your website for an overview of your setup? See https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ for more information.

I've enabled the debug information section for your next reply.

Additionally you can also take a look at https://wpml.org/faq/checklist-before-opening-a-ticket-in-wpml-support/ and cross-check for a few initial fixes.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Regards.

Thank you for the updates.

Can you please share the URL of the content which you used previously to translate automatically to Chinese simplified using Google translation engine? Because as per our records you rarely used Google to translate from English to German (EN to DE), while you have been using a mix of translation engines.

However, as I mentioned earlier that as per our list of supported languages vs translation engines (hidden link), Google (as translation engine for WPML) does not support Chinese Simplified and it's been since a long time.
