Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate into Polish the placeholder of dropdown list of Polish banks on my site hidden link.
Again I am not sure where I should send my question 🙂
My request I sent quite a long time ago to checkout-plugins-stripe-woo plugin support (hidden link) and Stripe support (hidden link). But till now I have had no response.
Probably you and Blocksy are my last chance to solve it. (The same question I sent to Blocksy support.)
I am using the checkout-plugins-stripe-woo plugin for the payment method used in Poland. It is Przelewy24 (cpsw_p24). Plugin is a kind of connection with Stripe.
Symptoms:
Unfortunately, the placeholder in the dropdown with the list of Polish banks is in English not Polish.
How to translate it into Polish?
I use the WPML plugin for translations. However, WPML does not find the “Select bank” string for translation.
Questions:
How can I translate the placeholder of the dropdown list in the payment method using WPML?
Also, I'd appreciate it if you could remove the maintenance mode on your website so I can test the front end.
Finally, please do as follows and get back to us with the result:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > String Translation
- Scroll down and enable the checkbox inside the AUTO REGISTER box.
- Go to the front end of the website and load the page that contains the bank names.
- Go back to string translation and reload the page. Check the top of the table and see if you can find the names now there for translation or not?

It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.
