[Resolved] Unable to copy translated text within the advanced translation page
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing issues with copying and pasting translated text, where the right-click doesn't work after entering a word, this be due to our spellchecker/dictionary not being applied yet. Solution: We have identified that this issue occurs because the browser context menu is replaced with our spellchecker/dictionary. To work around this, you can enter a space after the word, which should make the browser mark the word with an underlined red color and load our own context menu. Alternatively, we recommend using keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

By the way, I really hate the new interface. Bouncing around like crazy. It's like I need to tie it with a chain or something. Very annoying and waste of time.
before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
Please provide detailed steps on how we can reproduce the problem. Are you referring to copying the content after it has been automatically translated? Currently, no issues have been reported with Safari. You can also reactivate the old interface using the gearwheel icon on the right.
thanks for the info. When you right-click, our own submenu opens, allowing you to select words from a dictionary. This is not specific to Safari and works the same way in other browsers, like Chrome.
You can use the browser keyboard shortcuts Cmd+C and Cmd+V to copy and paste content within the translation editor.
If you copy the complete sentence, no specific dictionary entry is found and therefore, the menu from us is not viewable. Please try it on a single word, then you should see it.
Thanks! I was able to reproduce what you mean on Chrome/Windows and Safari/Mac.
If you enter a word, in some cases, the right click doesn't work, as the spellchecker/dictionary is not applied yet. You can easily reproduce this by entering a word like "test" and clicking the right mouse button. It will not open the context menu, but it's viewable once you enter a space. You will also notice that your browser will mark the word with an underlined red color; once this is viewable, it will also load our own context menu.
As the browser context menu here is replaced with our spellchecker/dictionary, this is expected, so I recommend using the keyboard shortcuts.
