Background of the issue:
I am trying to use WPML on my site hidden link. Once WPML is stopped, the English string before translation is 'Thanks for registering! To complete the activation of your account, go to the following link:'.

Symptoms:
An extra translation is added to the registered translation results, and the link does not work. This means that you cannot register as a member.

Questions:
Why is an extra translation being added to the registered translation results?
How can I fix the issue where the link does not work in the translated string?

As you can see in the attached image, when I search for strings, translated strings exist, but they are not translated as such.
(1) If you register as a member with CMS temporarily stopped, you will get a confirmation email before translation.
(2) Next, when CMS is activated and retrieved, an extra translation string is added after the translated text.
(3) When a string search is performed, there is no problem with the translation settings.
That's all.

We followed up with an investigation. We recreated the site for testing from a backup made just prior to the introduction of WPML (backups were made at each stage of development).

The site just prior to WPML can be found at hidden link.
The current site under development is at hidden link.

On the pre-WPML site, the member registration confirmation email is sent correctly (in English). Therefore, there is no problem with buddyboss at the previous site.

The site immediately after the WPML installation is reproduced, and the confirmation email with the translated text as reported above is received. 4 WPML plugins are activated, but disabling the 4 plugins will revert the situation.

Please note that the plugins on the site under development have been updated to the latest version. If there is something else to try, I will do it. I will also send you the login information for the two sites if needed.

Just before WPML, I consulted with the developer, WBCOME, and they recommended WPML, which is what we are doing now.
Best regards and please consider.

Hi,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you—our team has been handling a higher volume of requests recently.

Just a quick note: please avoid creating duplicate tickets for the same issue. I'm already working on this matter with you in the ticket you first created: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/about-wpml-translation/. We'll continue to address the link translation issue there.

I will mark this ticket as a duplicate and close it. Thank you for your understanding!

Best regards,
Marcel
