Background of the issue:
I translated a post from English to German and French. The German version worked well, but with the French version, although I translated and checked everything manually and multiple times, the counter still shows that only 96% of the text is translated. I can't 'complete translation,' and the French version of the article is therefore not showing on the website. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
A finished translation is stuck at 96% and cannot be completed or shown on the website. Only one article is shown, and there is no option to finish my translation (that is already finished).
Questions:
Why is the French translation stuck at 96%?
How can I complete the French translation so it shows on the website?
Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.
Please try the following steps and see if it helps:
1. Edit the primary language page and make small edits to the title. Doing this will force the secondary language to display the "Update Language" icon.
2. Navigate to "WPML" > "Translation Management" > "Jobs" > Cancel the job for the page that you're having issues translating.
3. Navigate to "WPML" > "Translations" > Click on "Resign" to the page you're having issues translating.
4. Navigate to "WPML" > "Support" > "Troubleshooting" > Click "Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs"
Once you've done the above, try retranslating the page and see if it works.
