I am unable to connect my home page with it's french twin. All other pages were able to connect, but this one does not show the "connect with translations" button
Does the page have a translation attached to it already by any chance? If yes please delete it and empty the trash before attempting to connect with the "new" existing one.
Otherwise, are you able to go to the translation and connect the translation with the default language (doing it backward).
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

The issue is happening because the French page is having an active translation in progress being added.
Meaning that the translation progress was happening from French into English. The translation is left in progress and this is why you are not able to connect them.
I have now finished it, and removed it; You should be able to connect the pages now.
When i attempt to link them (via edit page), the english home page doesn't pop up in the dialogue window. Others do, but the Home page is missing from there.
