Background of the issue:
I built my website hidden link using WordPress and translated all the content using WPML. I want to restore the website to its state before installing and using WPML, and then reconnect to the WPML database to avoid consuming new translation credits when I re-translate the website.

Symptoms:
After translating all the content using WPML, many product images are now in the wrong place. For example, the product image for the URL hidden link should not be these images.

Questions:
What should I do to restore the website to its state before installing and using WPML?
Is the WPML database automatically linked to my website?
After restoring the website, will reinstalling and using WPML again consume new translation credits?

Hello,

I have already connected your site on our end so you should have the translation memory on the site again. if you send to translate the pages, you should not have to spend credits unless there were some changes in your page.

I'd suggest you try it out with one page alone, test if everything's ok and then continue with the rest.

I only did this because I saw activity from today that suggests you restored your site already. if that wasn't the case.

You may not need to restore WPML but if you do decide to go down that route let me know because I'll have to do a few things on my end BEFORE you start translating, ok?

Hello dear, I restored the website to the state before installing and using WPML, and then I installed and activated WPML, but thephotos in the media library have changed from 689 to 505 pcs. This is a problem. Please log in to my website backend first to check the cause and solution. Do not translate any content, and do not enable automatic translation for everything. After resolving the issues with the number of blog posts and media files, you can proceed with the translation.

Please check my website hidden link and watch the video I recorded. Video link: hidden link

What could be causing this? Please check it out. You can also let me restore the website to its previous state using UpdraftPlus, as I backed up the media library when it was functioning normally before installing WPML. Thank you for your help.

If you need to log in to my backend, please set the next reply to private. Thank you.

Hello, that usually means that some of the images are there but they don't have a language.

Would you allow me access so I can verify that the other images are actually there?

By the way, do you know of any image that we can use as a reference that is currently not visible?

1) You may want to increase your WordPress memory because your current usage is quite high and nearly reaching the WordPress memory you set: hidden link
maybe you want to set it to 400M just to make sure that even during temporary spikes, the memory is going to always be enough.

2) It looks like your site is not registered, please make sure you do. you can do so from Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab) > Register WPML. If it appears as registered, please unregister and register again.

3) Hm, it looks like that image for some reason doesn't have a language assigned and I'm trying to figure out why it's that. did you send the images to a plugin to be transformed into WEBP by any chance?

I'll ask our devs to take a look at this case but there's a sure way to find the image: hidden link if you select "all languages" in the language switcher and look for the image, it will appear.

Dear, thank you for your quick reply.
1. How can I change the memory limit for WordPress from 256M to 400M? Could you please guide me through the detailed steps?
2. My website's WPML has been successfully activated, and I have reactivated it again.
3. Regarding these accessory images, I did not use any image editing tools. I added watermarks and uploaded them in WebP format. Previously, my website had the EASY WATERMARK plugin, which I used to add watermarks to early truck images. I deleted it before installing and using WPML.
4. You are very professional. You found these spare parts when setting it to all languages. What should we do now?

Do you need me to restore the website to its state before installing and using WPML, then install and activate WPML, and compare the images in the media library to find the cause of the issue? Thank you for your help. You are so professional.

Good morning, dear. I have increased the wordpress memory limit of the server to 768M.
I seem to have found the missing images. These images are under different languages. I searched for a specific image, then changed the language at the top of the page, and was able to find the image under different languages.
For example, we can search for any product image under all languages: hidden link
Under Vietnamese: hidden link, we can find VG1246010126
Under Spanish: hidden link, we can find 202V26101-7271
In Russian, hidden link, we can find 201V0114-5501

I haven't restored the official online website to its state before installing and using WPML. Do I need to restore it?
What should we do now? How can we find all the images and move them all to the English section? Awaiting your guidance, thank you.

I don't think it's just a matter of moving product images from other languages to English. The main issue is WPML. Before installing and using WPML, all 689 media files were present in the media library. However, after installing and using WPML, the number decreased to 505, and some media files from English pages ended up under other languages. What could be causing this? Could it be conflicting with certain plugins?

1. How can I change the memory limit for WordPress from 256M to 400M? Could you please guide me through the detailed steps?

You can use any of these guides:
- https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/wordpress/wp-config/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

here's also a video I found for you: hidden link

2) Can you please make sure my credentials are ok? it seems the link with the auto login is not working anymore. I need it to make sure that everything's ok (and avoid too much back and forth)

3) Thanks for the information about the images. You mentioned that the images are actually in another language, which means that they need to be duplicated into the other languages, but let me check that for you first, because I want to check if there's something off with that image. do not restore your site, please. I don't think it's a conflicting plugin but it's too early to tell, most of the time it just means that the images need to be duplicated into all the languages (which is done in WPML > Settings > Media Translation > "Start" button) you can try that in the meantime since it takes time for it to finish (Do not close that tab when you do).

Regards,
