This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needs help customizing the WPML language switcher dropdown to match a specific style shown in an example image, but only found a troubleshooting guide and not a tutorial.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to customize your WPML language switcher dropdown:
1. Navigate to WPML >> Languages >> Menu Language Switcher.
2. Edit the language switcher settings to choose a similar option as shown in the example.
3. To achieve the same arrow and border style, copy the CSS from the Twenty Sixteen theme.
For more detailed guidance on styling issues, please refer to our documentation: How to fix styling and CSS issues for the language switchers.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. The language switcher dropdown inherits styles from your active theme to match the rest of your menu. The example you shared is styled using the default Twenty Sixteen theme.

To get a similar look, please try the following:

1. Go to the WPML >> Languages > Menu Language Switcher.

2. Edit the language switcher settings and choose the similar option as you can see in the attached screenshot.

3. For the same arrow/border style, you can copy CSS from the Twenty Sixteen theme

Here is a doc for more details:

If needed, feel free to move your site to a live server so I can check the current output and help with custom CSS.

Let me know how it goes,
Thank you
