Hello. I got tired of constantly setting "translate independently" on my website, so I'm going to reinstall WPML. During the installation process, which options should I choose to disable the automatic translation problem? If I couldn't explain clearly: when I translated a page into German, the German page would revert to its original state over time, and when I contacted WPML Support, they said you need to reinstall WPML from scratch to completely fix this for all pages. I have now uninstalled WPML and want to reinstall it, but I don't know which settings to choose during the installation process.

Hi there,

If I understand correctly, your pages and posts were set as duplicates, meaning that the default language would always overwrite (duplicate) into the translation, which is why you would need to select "translate independently"

The automatic translation would not cause this behavior.

If you are going to re-install WPML I recommend starting here as it goes through all the translation modes available:

Let us know your results, please.
