Background of the issue:
I was updating a translated page using WPML and encountered an issue. While editing the translation, the page appeared scrambled on the front end with missing or improperly loading styles. Here is what the scrambled page looked like: hidden link. We fixed it by adding translation credits, resuming the translation manually from the WPML dashboard, and reloading the styling by clicking 'Edit with Elementor' on the affected page. The page returned to normal. The issue can be seen here: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The page appeared scrambled on the front end with missing or improperly loading styles.

Questions:
What may have caused the page to appear scrambled after translation?
How can I prevent this issue from happening again while translating additional pages?

Thanks for contacting us. You mentioned "editing the translation" and are you saying that you're editing the translated page directly without using the Advanced Translation Editor? Or are you using manual translation?

I may have misidentified the original cause of the issue. I initially thought it was due to a stalled translation, but the issue just occurred again — and this time there was no stalled translation.

Thanks for the screen recording. Let me check the backend to see the issue. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your patience. I’ve reviewed your staging site and made some edits and updates, but I couldn’t reproduce the issue on my end. Could you please check the staging site and let me know if the problem still occurs for you? Without being able to replicate the issue, I’m unable to proceed with further troubleshooting.

Also, it's worth noting that all the third-party plugins you're using appear to be fully compatible with WPML.
