Background of the issue:
I am translating products from English to Arabic on WooCommerce using a theme called Shoptimizer by CommerceGurus. I initially allowed the Product Type taxonomy to be translated but later changed it to Non Translatable in WPML Settings. I deleted all my products in both languages. I expected the error message to disappear after these changes.

Symptoms:
I am still seeing the error message: 'We detected that the product_type field was set incorrectly for some product translations. This happened because the product_type taxonomy was translated. You can fix this in the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency troubleshooting page.' I went to WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency > Troubleshooting but couldn't find a way to fix the problem.

Questions:
How can I fix the product_type field issue in WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency?
Why is the error message still appearing after setting product_type as Non Translatable and deleting all products?

Hi there!

This is Paola, I hope you’re doing well!

To fix the issue, please follow the solution described here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/troubleshooting-wcml/

This troubleshooting problem will be resolved in the next release of WooCommerce Multilingual 5.5.2.
In the meantime, you’ll need to downgrade the plugin, run the troubleshooting steps, and then update it again.
