I am trying to translate the shop and product page. I've move the template into translated automatically from the Translation Management tab. However, when it comes to reviewing and publish the template in the Translation tab, the button "review" is just keep running forever and no response for me to review and publish the template. Hence, I can't be able to translate my shop or product page.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

1) Please check the following steps:

1- Edit the shop page in the default language
2- Add "V2" to the tile and update it
3- Delete the "V2" and update the page
4- Update the page translation
5- Review the page

2) It's not related to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. The minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

/* Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. Please check the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Translations
2- Select the "Vendor Dashboard"
3- Select "Approve translation reviews"
4- Go to Pages-> Vendor Dashboard
5- Click the "Pencil" icon to check and review the translation

Please let me know if the above workaround fixed the issue.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

I'm not trying to translate the vendor dashboard but a template from Elementor theme builder.
In the screenshot that I've provided, you can see that error I've got when trying to approve the Local Friend template.

Hi,

On the staging site, the template was not in the translation list, so I fixed the issue by the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Translation Management
2- Select the template
3- Send it to a translation by a local translation
4- Go to the translation basket, and assign it to my account
5- Go to WPML-> Translations and complete the translation

After that, the translation worked correctly. (hidden link)

Osama

Hi Osama,

This is exactly what I did for the Local Friend and other template but I've got exactly the issue that I've mentioned earlier. Maybe I could share my live site and you can have a look to investigate, thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I found that the translations were stuck on the live site, so I ran the troubleshooting functions in WPML-> Support-> Troubleshooting.

After that, the template worked correctly. (hidden link)

Osama

Hi Osama,

Thanks for that, this works fine! However, I am not able to translate this pop up filter by The7 even after translating the template of this. In the image, the category names has been translated but the title hasn't been. Are you able to advise on this? Thanks.

Hi,

It's great to hear that the issue is fixed 🙂. In our forum, we try to keep one issue per ticket.

Continuing with one ticket per issue helps not only supporters to focus on one issue at once but also enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.

Therefore, I've split the other ticket and created a new ticket with this issue. (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-shop-and-product-page-template-unable-to-translate/)

Thanks for your understanding

Best regards,
Osama
