Background of the issue:
I am trying to prevent my site, hidden link, from slowing down and crashing. The site is running out of memory, and despite increasing memory, the issue persists. The slow log shows an entry just before the crash: [06-Jun-2025 15:12:57] [pool myddfai.com] pid 18474 script_filename = /var/www/vhosts/myddfai.com/httpdocs/index.php [0x00007fe32c8e4f60] WPMLFP{closure}() /var/www/vhosts/myddfai.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/wpml/fp/core/functions.php:154 [0x00007fe32c8e4ef0] call_user_func_array() /var/www/vhosts/myddfai.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/wpml/fp/core/functions.php:154 [0x00007fe32c8e4df0] WPMLFP{closure}() /var/www/vhosts/myddfai.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/wpml/collect/src/Illuminate/Support/Traits/Macroable.php:56 [0x00007fe32c8e4d80] call_user_func_array() /var/www/vhosts/myddfai.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/wpml/collect/src/Illuminate/Support/Traits/Macroable.php:56.

Symptoms:
The site is slowing down and crashing due to running out of memory.

Questions:
Is there any way we can work out what is causing this?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

Would you please test and see if the issue is happening on a minimal installation?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Also from the log info it seems to be something related to either WP Forms translation? I am not sure, but see if that has an effect too?

Thanks.
