Hello,
I went to WPML settings and click on the button to translate links targets, it went to the end and check those 6451 links, please find enclosed printscreen of the result.
I went back to the page and can confirm the links in dutch have not been updated, those links in dutch page are still using french slug.
FYI, the way we translate is that the website is finished in french and we click on the + icon in page list to start translating with wpml, all fields seems to appear in the translation manager and are translated, we complete this step and go to dutch page to verify .The text content is well translated but links slug are still those from french.
I also delete totally the dutch translation and retranslate from french, still the slug is not translated correctly
OK, I've managed to reproduce something similar on my own test site.
I'm double checking with my colleagues about whether this should work, or whether it is expected that such links must be translated manually (by editing the translated page with the Avada editor).
I'll get back to you when I have some feedback (which will likely be Monday).
Sorry, I'm still discussing it with my second tier colleague.
To abstract away from whether the issue might depend on WooCommerce (I guess your "product" post type comes from WC) I reproduced the issue with a simpler test site where I simply registered a "product" post type and used that.
The solutions my colleague is proposing won't necessarily work if you are using a plugin like WooCommerce, so can I first confirm that is the case.
Quick update to let you know that my colleague spent quite some time debugging this over the past couple of days but is unable to find a solution, and so he has now escalated it to the developers to get involved.
