[Resolved] Split: Multiple Items on Website Need Translation From English to Arabic
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unable to translate certain items on their Wishlist page using the Xstore Theme. Specifically, the word 'wishlist' on the empty page and the button text are not translated, despite existing translations. Additionally, the phrases 'Added on: December 13, 2023', 'add to cart', 'apply', and 'Share' on the page with added products are not translated. Solution: 1. Navigate to WPML -> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan for strings. 2. Go to WPML -> String Translation. 3. Click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link. 4. Search for the needed strings. 5. Select the strings you wish to translate. 6. Click on the "Add to String Translation" button. 7. Return to the String Translation page by clicking on the "« Return to String Translation" link. 8. Translate the selected strings, clear your site's cache, and then check the front end to see the changes.
I hope this message finds you well .. I have managed to translate most of my website with the exception of some items that I was hoping you could help me translate .. The items are:
2. Wishlist page:
- Empty page: The word wishlist is translated by the body and the button text is not,
even though the translation exists
- Page with added products: Added on: December 13, 2023, add to cart, apply and Share
Once we fix these items, I will highlight the other items I need your help with .. Thank you in advance ...
Best Regards,
Muhamed

2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end
Thank you for your reply .. After carefully following your instructions, I am still unable to resolve the issue .. Is there an alternative method we can try?
Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thank you very much, I checked and all the modifications are visible on my end as well .. I will need your help with the following 2 remaining issues:
1. When the wishlist page is empty and I click the black button (العودة الى المنتجات) it goes to the Arabic version of the shop page .. However, I add a product to the wishlist then remove it, clicking on the same button takes me to the English version of the shop .. If I hover over the button, I see that the link takes me to the shop page and not the (/5-المنتجات) page .. Do you know how we can resolve this issue?
2. Can you help me remove this warning message from my dashboard please? (see screenshot)
I do have some other issues with the English/Arabic links of the brands .. Would you recommend opening another ticket, or can we resolve it in this ticket as well?
Thank you very much, the message disappeared on my end as well 🙂 ..
My last issue is with the Arabic and English links of the brands .. I am not sure how to set specific links to each individual brand in Arabic .. Right now some of the brands' pages are not linking properly when the website is in Arabic as it's showing me this error message (لم يتم العثور على أي منتجات), those brands are (APIEU, ABEREDE, Dr.Ceuracle and ETUDE), whereas the rest of the brands work just fine ..
Can you please help me figure out why this is happening?
Thank you for bringing that to my attention .. I was able to revise and publish the translations for the products waiting for review, however, the issue with the brands' links is still not resolved .. Can you please look into it?
