Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translating certain strings on their website using WPML. Specifically, the button label 'Find Events', the placeholder 'Search for events', and dropdown options 'List, Month, Day' are not translating correctly. Additionally, custom text indicating the next lesson access date is not translating on the Spanish page, though it is available and translated in the backend.
Solution:
We recommend updating your WPML plugins to the latest version to ensure all translations are applied correctly. You can download the latest versions of WPML from here.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the strings on our website using the String translations settings in WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Things that are not translated on this page -
The button Label: Find Events
The placeholder: Search for events
Drop down: List, Month, Day

Another example: We have custom text which is shown on our Lessons page to users indicating the availability of the next lesson access date. This text is available for translation in the backend settings page in WPML and it is translated. On our website the string only appears to be translated in German. On the Spanish page, the string/text is not translated.

Symptoms:
The text is not translated as expected.

Questions:
Why are the strings not translating on the specified page?
How can I ensure the strings are translated correctly using WPML?

First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please back up your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Please update WPML plugins to the latest version and check if the events page will be translated correctly. You can find the latest WPML versions here.

All these plugins were updated on the dev site and I have checked that the issue is still there before posting this support ticket.

Thanks for updating the plugin. Can I try the following test on the staging site?

1- Deactivate all the plugins except WPML CMS, String Translation, and The Events Calendar.
2- Switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.

If the issue is gone, activate them one by one to see which one is causing an interaction issue.

Yes, you can go ahead with the steps to test if the issue is resolved with this approach.

We have regular automatic backups for our site so that should not be an issue.

Thanks for your permission. Some plugins are network active, so I couldn't deactivate them. Would you please activate them?

Also, please upload the hidden link">Duplicator Pro plugin to the network so I can take a local copy of your site to debug it further.
