Background of the issue:
I am trying to move to Tieng Viet or Tagalog language from this page hidden link, but it redirects me to hidden link without "/vi/" after isentia.com. The correct link should be like this hidden link. Also, when I am already on this page hidden link, all of the translation dropdown links have "/vi/" after isentia.com instead of the right country code. For example, when I move to Tagalog: hidden link, the correct link should be hidden link.

Symptoms:
The translation dropdown is not working properly. It redirects to incorrect URLs without the appropriate language code.

Questions:
How do we fix the link issue in the translation dropdown?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

I understand the issue that you are experiencing. There could be a third-party plugin or a block of code that adjusts the home URL on your site. I suggest you follow steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Enable a minimal environment:
- Deactivate all non-WPML plugins.
- Switch to a standard theme of WordPress.

2. Check the file wp-config.php and see if there is a code that sets the site and home URLs like this:

define('WP_SITEURL', '...');
define('WP_HOMEURL', '...;);

if yes, please remove them.

3. Go to admin area > Settings > General tab > Set the WordPress and Site URL to hidden link and save.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
