Symptoms:
I cannot find where I can translate the forms.
Questions:
How can I translate contact forms within Elementor using WPML?
Welcome to WPML support. Please follow the steps mentioned in the chat and get back to us with the replicated page and I will report this to compatibility team.
- Go to your Dashboard > Pages.
- Open the edit screen of the original page. You should see a pencil/circle/gear icon in the sidebar options under the "Languages" section.
- Make a small change, for example, add an extra blank space at the end of a sentence/paragraph.
- Save it.
- You should now see that a circular arrow appears beside the 2nd languages links, this means that an update is required.
- Edit the translation again and save it up to 100% translated.
Hello thank you so much for this coding. I have implemented it, and correctly i can now edit it into spanish. The thing is that once ihave translated it and saved translation the formularies and search for DOES NOT update into spanish language, it stays in english. Can you have a look at it inside my website please?
My main issue right now is the advanced search results page. I don’t know which string is the correct one to translate because when I do it the search box stops to function. It’s the search form in wpresidence option, so when I go on property results search page , the search container doesn’t work if I translate it I must be translating the string incorrectly. Can I not give you access to my site to review it better?
The issue you reported seems unrelated to standard Elementor usage and may require a separate ticket. Since this page doesn’t use a typical widget setup, it’s important to check if the issue can be replicated on a clean installation.
If we can reproduce the problem there, it points to a compatibility issue between WPML and your theme (Residence), which I can escalate to our compatibility team.
To proceed, please provide:
Clear steps to reproduce the issue.
Details on how the page is built.
Where the theme options are configured.
The more specific you are, the faster I can confirm the issue and take appropriate action.
Details on how the page is built: The page is built from Template of page in the theme. Property layout : Advanced Search Results page. So its not done with elementor or bakery, its results page from theme template.
Where the theme options are configured: themes are configured in Wpresidence Options, on left side inside wordpress,
Inside the string in WPML: wp_estate_custom_search_Bedrooms, [elementor_search_label_36996][62]3, WpResidence_Search_Form_Builder-placeholder-10f8fea-26a0bf1, [wpresidence_admin][wpestate_set_search][adv_search_label]3, wpresidence-core
There are many strings, but once i change it it conflicts the theme.
The more specific you are, the faster I can confirm the issue and take appropriate action.
