This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that headings on their website were not being translated into German, despite other content translating correctly. The issue was observed on multiple pages and seemed to be related to a custom text widget created by the Phlox theme, which uses Elementor but was not supported by the older version of WPML.
Solution:
We recommended the client to first create a backup of their website or test the solution on a staging version to avoid disruptions. The steps to resolve the issue include:
1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab).
2. Click the Check for Updates button.
3. Update WPML and its addons.
For more information on automated updates, visit https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#automated-updates
After updating, the client should:
4. Go to Dashboard > Pages and open the edit screen of the original page.
5. Make a minor edit, such as adding an extra space, and save it.
6. Update the translation to 100% completion by editing again if necessary.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. The issue that you mentioned seems to be related to a custom text widget that is created by Phlox, which seems to be your theme developer.

So the theme developer created an Elementor element and that is not supported in WPML it seems.

With the version 4.9 release of WPML, we introduced a feature that WPML detects even custom-built elements if they use the Elementor coding standards.

So what I suggest is:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update WPML and its addons there.

For more information:
https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#automated-updates

After that, please do as follows:

- Go to your Dashboard > Pages.
- Open the edit screen of the original page. You should see a pencil/circle/gear icon in the sidebar options under the "Languages" section.
- Make a small change, for example, add an extra blank space at the end of a sentence/paragraph.
- Save it.
- You should now see that a circular arrow appears beside the 2nd languages links, this means that an update is required.
- Edit the translation again and save it up to 100% translated.

Thanks.

As you suggested, I updated the WPML plugin. After updating, I edited the page and then edited the translation again, but the heading is still not showing in both the English and German language sections. Please help me fix this issue.
