WPML needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this. Please allow outgoing communication to wpml.org to remove this notice.

Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to one of my colleagues, I will try to help.

There's a big chance that what you are seeing is a false-positive that remained in the server caching and the notification will be removed automatically when the cache will automatically clear on its own.

To check if that's a false positive, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial > click the "check for updates" button and if the page refreshes and WPML is still showing as registered, then yes, that is just a false positive.

Please let us know how that goes.

Can you please let me know what result did you get when you tried this:

To check if that's a false positive, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial > click the "check for updates" button and if the page refreshes and WPML is still showing as registered, then yes, that is just a false positive.

If it is a false positive, the message will still be there (you might need to get in touch with the server support team to fully remove the server caching) but at least we know that WPML is correctly connected.

i have tried again, same result, after i press check for updates nothing happening, and message still show up.

my website domain name was bennoahstore.com , changed to bennoah.com , im afraid that is the issue. As I knew previously the site configured with WPML has been modified to be bennoah.com , if you check screenshots you will notice in some places that bennoahstore.com still show up

if i can send my domain user and password, to check from your end will be better, also if its serve issue from HostGator which is the Hoster i will contact them.

I think the normal behavior should be that the page would simply refresh and your WPML.org account would still be connected.

I'm happy to take a closer look to make sure everything is fine with your connections.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

I am back.

Things work correctly.

When you click on the "check for updates" button here (hidden link), there's a reload animation showing next to the button (attaching screenshot) and after that animation ends, your site is still connected to WPML so your site is correctly connected to WPML and that notice comes from some caching.

I can force it to not show but it would be better if we let it disappear on its own ๐Ÿ™‚

Please let me know if you would still like me to force it to stop showing.
