Can't assign myself as translator - Part 2

Marc-Antoine Gagnon	Background of the issue: I am trying to assign myself as a translator to translate a Gravity Form. I encountered a similar issue previously, as discussed in this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/cant-assign-myself-as-translator/. Symptoms: When I type my username in the dropdown, there's nothing. I had the same problem before and had to delete and recreate my user each time, which I think is not a good solution. Questions: Why can't I assign myself as a translator? Is there a better solution than deleting and recreating my user?

The following known issue sounds very closely related to your case. https://wpml.org/errata/cannot-add-translation-manager-in-some-scenarios/ Can you please try the suggested workaround and see if it helps?
