Background of the issue:
I'm using WPML together with the ACF Pro plugin and the ACFML plugin. My ACFML configuration is set to allow different fields in all languages, and the standard WP editor is activated instead of the WPML translation editor. I want to deactivate an error message that appears when updating a page.

Symptoms:
When I update the original version of a page and then open one of the language versions, an error message is displayed: 'Warning: You are about to edit your translation using the standard WordPress editor but your site is configured to use the WPML Translation Editor. Any edits you do here will be lost if you later open it in the WPML Translation Editor.'

Questions:
Is there a way to deactivate the error message that appears when using ACFML with WPML?

Hi,

I tested this scenario on my local test site.
This warning message shows when you set one post or post type to be translated with the WordPress editor:

Warning: You are about to edit your translation using the standard WordPress editor but your site is configured to use the WPML Translation Editor. Any edits you do here will be lost if you later open it in the WPML Translation Editor.

It warns users that they might lose the translation made on this page if they later switch to WPML's Translation Editor. The message will disappear when you press the Update button on the translated page. The next time you update the original post, you will see this message again on the translated page. But as I said, pressing the Update button will make it disappear. Disabling the WPML's Translation Editor for the entire site is impossible. Please explain this to your editors.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Itamar.

Thank you for testing the issue. Meanwhile I followed your suggestion to delete all translation jobs in the translation management. This could not be done in the backend, I had to do this directly in the database. This operation was successful - the error message disappeared. So you can close this issue as resolved
