This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
After migrating a WooCommerce eshop and deactivating WPML, the site's language switched to English (EN) only, despite originally being in Lithuanian (LT) and English. The client was concerned about why the LT language was blocked after deactivating WPML.
Solution:
We advised the client to reinstall and activate the WPML core plugin, then perform a WPML reset. This process involves navigating to WPML>>Support>>Troubleshooting and selecting the 'Reset' option. It's crucial to take a full site backup before performing the reset to avoid data loss.
After resetting, it's also recommended to clear all types of caches to ensure the changes take effect properly. For detailed steps, please refer to the documentation here: WPML Reset Documentation.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.
