Background of the issue:
I am trying to understand why the order of posts from the post object field changes when the content is translated to German. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The data order is inconsistent when the content is translated to German, whereas I expected a consistent data order.

Questions:
Why is the order of posts different when translated to German?

Hello,

I'll try to help you while a supporter takes your case.

1) I understand you expect the order to be the same in all languages, however I'm not sure if the way the site is configured has anything in between that could determine the order shown in the front-end as well. From what I see the content comes from an ACF Field. Can you check if such field has a setting that orders the content in a certain way?

2) Could you allow us access to your site so we can give the posts and the post object field a look and see if we can spot what's making it inconsistent.

Regards,

Hello,

I’ve taken a look, but I’ll need a bit more information to proceed:

1) Is this your staging site, and can we safely investigate the issue there?

2) How are you selecting which case study to display? I see the block, but I don’t notice any rule determining which case study post appears.

3) Is this block explicitly called in the code for that template, or are you using FSE templates to display it?

4) What ordering rule is applied for this block/content?

Regards,
Drazen
