Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and trying to synchronize the menu between languages using WPML. I have followed the recommended settings as per the documentation.

Symptoms:
When synchronizing the menu between languages, the menu items are created, but the structure is not preserved. The new menu appears at the first level instead of maintaining the original hierarchy.

Questions:
What am I doing wrong? Video hidden link

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

1.- Before one of my colleagues gets this ticket I would like to ask you to follow these steps:
- Edit the menu in the original language
- Make a small temporary change
- Save the changes
- Sync the menu again (I'm assuming the menu in the secondary language is already created)
- Double-check if the issue disappeared

Could you describe the results of the steps described above so my colleague can continue working on this ticket?

2.- Please provide the debug information of the site following the steps described in this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/#:~:text=Your%20debug%20information%20is%20located,supporter%20assigned%20to%20your%20ticket.
