Background of the issue:
I'm building my pages using a combination of Gutenberg blocks and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), including flexible content and repeaters. The site I need help with is hidden link.
Symptoms:
When I open a page for translation via WPML's default translation editor, not all the ACF or Gutenberg fields are shown. Some fields inside ACF repeaters or flexible content fields are completely missing from the translation screen, even though they are present on the original page. This causes incomplete translations and inconsistent content across languages. The issue appears only in some ACF fields (especially nested or dynamic ones), while others show up correctly.
Questions:
Why are some ACF fields missing in the WPML translation editor?
How can I ensure all ACF and Gutenberg fields appear in the WPML translation editor?
Thanks for contacting us. I'd need to check your setup and I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Thanks for the update. I've added the ACF license key, so it should be working now.
Please feel free to continue, and let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked both language versions, and they appear identical on my end, except for the missing "stats" section as shown in the attached screenshot. Are you seeing the same result, or could you be referring to a different page?
Not sure why everything shows up correctly now, but would you like me to further investigate the missing "stats" section?
The problem is exactly this: when I try to translate this page hidden link with WPML's page translation, exactly in this section, only the paragraphs are displayed, not the titles. If you check the block in the original version (English), this section has a repeater where each item has a heading, content, and buttons.
For some reason, when I try to translate this section, the field to translate the repeater headings doesn't appear.
Thanks for your reply. The fields are there for translation as shown in the attached screenshot here hidden link . Could you complete the translation and let me know if it shows up correctly on the frontend?
Thanks for your reply. You need to complete the translation first before it will reflect the change on the translated page. Could you try and let me know how it goes?
Hi Kor,
Thanks for the information. Now I see that it updates when the translation is complete for the page. How did you solve the problem with the title not showing? I added a button, but it doesn't show up. When new things are added to the English version, the Spanish version doesn't show up for translation.
Thanks for your reply. I didn't do anything else on your Website besides checking the configuration. Could you tell me where I can see this button that you added? Maybe you can highlight it using a screenshot?
