This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have translated a navigation button from French to English, but it still displays in French on your website.
Solution:
If your menu is a standard WordPress menu, we recommend following the instructions provided here.
If the menu is part of a Divi template, you should go to WPML -> Translation Management, select the template, and translate it directly from there.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check the related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket if you need further assistance. You can do so at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I have translated the string related to navigation in EN but it remains on default language FR. I am trying to translate a button on the navigation of my site hidden link.

Symptoms:
The navigation button remains in the default language FR despite being translated to EN.

Questions:
What else can I do to ensure the navigation button is translated to EN?

Hi,

Could you specify which strings you translated and from which textdomain?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi,

These are system strings and should not be translated.

Regarding the button you want to translate, is it a regular menu entry, or was it created using Divi? If it was created with Divi, is it part of a specific page or a global template?

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi!

If the menu is a standard WordPress menu not created within a Divi template, you can translate it by following the instructions provided here.

If the menu is part of a Divi template, simply go to WPML -> Translation Management, select the template, and translate it directly from there.

Best regards,
Marcel
