Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that products in the second language have a default variation selected. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I read a related topic here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/products-in-second-language-dont-have-default-variation-selected/page/2/. I upgraded WPML WooCommerce Multilingual to version 5.5.2.3 but still face the issue.

Symptoms:
Products in the second language don't have a default variation selected. Instead of seeing a default variation, none is selected on translated products.

Questions:
Why are default variations not selected for products in the second language?
How can I ensure that default variations are selected for translated products?

I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Thanks for your reply. I've checked, and it looks like you're using some 3rd party plugins to set up the swatches and it looks complex. Could you please install the required plugins here on our sandbox site hidden link and try to replicate the issue over there?

You sandbox website is so slow. I can't reinstall all my website on this server...

But it you want on my staging you can disable third party plugin, save again products and check if default variation is well assigned into all translated languages

Looks like the issue is isolated to your Website for some reason. Could you please create an administrative account for me?

Also, I kindly ask for a snapshot of the site. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.

To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:

1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link

2. Consult WPML's instructions on providing supporters with a copy of your site: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.

Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the file link there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.

Thanks for your patience. My apologies for overlooking this. I've some feedback from our 2nd Tier Support, and they mentioned that the issue could be related to corrupted WCML files. Replacing the WCML plugin files could fix it. Could you please check why your staging site is inaccessible now? hidden link
