Background of the issue:
I am trying to install WPML and add a second language, Arabic, to my website hidden link.
Symptoms:
The Arabic version of my site has issues displaying content on the page hidden link. Specifically, the cars filters and pagination stop working, while the English version works fine.
Questions:
how to solve the issues at my Arabic version
Welcome to WPML support. There seems to be a conflict between the theme you use and WPML as there is a 404 not found error in the ajax loading feature.
Would you please test first by checking the parent theme and a minimal installation?
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the parent Drivco theme by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.
Also as the filter is working on products it seems, you need to make sure the necessary glue plugin is installed to make WPML compatible with Woocommerce in the first place.

- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Install Woocommerce Multilingual
Hello, i try the above but the page i have issue in is from the theme, the vehicle/car page that shows all my cars the filter on that page is not working they are not WooCommerce products, how i can solve this theme wpml conflict ?
To be able to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below: hidden link
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Install the theme.
- Install the necessary plugins.
- Try to replicate the issue.
This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.
We will do our best to see if it is possible to find a workaround without the involvement of the theme developer, but we may need their help in some point.
Thanks, it seems that you misunderstood the need for a clean installation replication.
The whole purpose of that practice is to install the theme and replicate the problem from scratch and not import the current website there.
We actually have a warning at the very top of the dashboard to remind that fact (please check the screenshot)
Replicating the issue from scratch will eliminate any sort of possible external factor and that is the only way that I can report to a compatibility team so they can delve into the code and find out the problem cause.
I checked the current website and found out that the issue is in Ajax URL load.
To test it I changed the second language format from directory to parameter and see what is the filter generated code:

See how the code wants to add wp-admin after ?lang=ar
The theme code should detect what is a parameter before or even a directory before and attach the link correctly.
This is my finding as a first tier support that you can share with the theme developer.
But if you want our compatibility team to take a look into the issue please use this link instead:

This time please do not import your website.
Just install the theme and necessary plugin (Drivco Core), and then create an entry and archive for the filter to test in a clean installation.
Please consider that this will be a temporary solution and you need to contact the then developers and ask them to use the correct standard way of WordPress to avoid such issues in the future updates of the theme.
Thanks.
