I have attached images of the issue; I think it's visible. The unit "kg" is incorrect in the original language. I searched through the strings to see where it might be possible to modify this, but for some reason, in the single_attribute module, it places the unit "kg" in front of the numbers in the original text, and I can't figure out why.
Go to WPML > String translation from the bottom page and enable "Look for strings while pages are rendered". Visit the product in front, and refresh. Go to the backend and search for kg, translate.
maybe that is how it is shown in the Hungary language, as standard for the language and it is implemented by WordPress / WooCommerce.
Can you please check, disable WPML plugins, and check if it still happens like that when not using WPML and HU is set as the default language from WordPress settings.
Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
If possible please provide access to the staging website, not production.
Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.
I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.
I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.
I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.
I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.
You can safely add your information into these fields.
can you please re-check FTP and make sure it works, I can not connect.
Also please check if the issue still happens when using the WP default theme and only WPML plugins and WooCommerce are active, all other disabled. I think this is being caused in combination with some other code/plugin.
I attached a picture for my totalcommander, ftp is working fine for me.
For the part where the translation doesn't work is an elementor module: elementor-jet-single-attributes jet-woo-builder
So if I turn off these, that is not a solution
thanks I was able to check and see the issue happening when using a template from JetWooBuilder. Please note this plugin is not officially compatible so some issue may happen:
We will be glad to help further and check but note we might need to contact the plugin author for further collaboration.
I created a minimal installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:
- hidden link
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Set up JetWooBuilder
- Create some simple template
- Try to replicate the issue.
- Share with me step by step guide on how can I check the issue
This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.
Regards,
Drazen
