Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the translation website is not available on their site using WPML.
Solution:
We recommend updating the WPML plugins and add-ons to the latest version, specifically to version 4.8.3, to access the latest bug fixes and improvements. You can find the latest versions in your WPML account under My Account -> Downloads. If updates are not visible, you may need to manually check for updates in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab of your WordPress dashboard. Before updating, ensure to backup your database. After updating, if the problem still persists, navigate to Settings → Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and click the 'Save Changes' button.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Have you updated WPML plugins to the latest version? If not, please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.8.2, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we need to work on the newest code available to troubleshoot the issue best.

You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site.

If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.

Please remember to backup your database before you proceed.

If the issue persists after an update has been done, please go to Settings → Permalinks and click the Save Changes button.
