This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing 404 errors on all French product pages, while other languages and the homepage remain unaffected. The issue persists even after re-saving permalinks and translations.
Solution:
We recommend checking the translation of your French product base URL in WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce under the shop-URLs section. It's possible that the URL translation was altered unintentionally. Correcting this should resolve the 404 errors on your French product pages.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

From the link you provided, I noticed that the French product URL is missing the category, while the same product in other languages includes it. This may indicate that the product category is not properly translated or assigned in French.

Could you please check the following:
• Ensure that the product category is translated into French
• Confirm that the translated product is assigned to the translated category

Additionally, to rule out a potential conflict, please temporarily deactivate all plugins except WPML, WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML), and WooCommerce, and then check if the issue persists. This will help determine if a third-party plugin is affecting the URL structure.

Example for comparison:
hidden link

Hi, the product category is translated and the product is assigned to those categories.
Disabling all plugins did not fix the issue.

Kind regards

I was able to fix the issue myself. The translation of the French product base URL translation was somehow changed. Fixed in: WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce → shop-URL's.
