Background of the issue:
We have a live site arugrupp.ee and a development version arugrupp.valgekana.ee. We add and translate all content on the staging site (arugrupp.valgekana.ee) and, if everything seems perfect, we copy the site to live (arugrupp.ee). This process worked perfectly until last week.

Symptoms:
We received a message about double sites.

Questions:
How can we manage the live site and staging version with automated translation using WPML?
What guidelines should we follow to continue our current workflow without issues?

Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

If you’re working on a staging site, you can set its site keys with a PHP constant. You’ll find step-by-step instructions here: https://wpml.org/faq/automatic-wpml-registration-using-php-for-easy-moves-between-production-development-and-staging/.

Best Regards,
Marcel
