This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to translate a SHOP button in the main navigation menu and a site notice using WPML with WordPress, Elementor, and the Astra theme.
Solution:
We recommended the client to use the WPML String Translation module to translate these elements. If the client was unable to find the strings using the String Translation or the Translation Wizard, we suggested a closer examination of the website. We asked for temporary access to the site with a reminder to perform a full backup before sharing access details for security purposes. We also mentioned that we might need to deactivate and reactivate plugins or the theme and make configuration changes, hence the importance of the backup. The client managed to find the strings and apply the translations on their own.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend trying the WPML String Translation module. If you're unable to resolve the issue, please ensure you have a full backup of your site and then contact us for further assistance. We may need to request temporary access to your site to investigate the issue further. Remember to check the related known issues and verify that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. If the solution provided here is outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for personalized assistance.
