On our development/test site we got an error displayed on the admin plugins page. See the screenshot. When we disaple WPML completely it disappears. Also when we click to display more info it shows some reference to WPML.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

If you previously had Toolset plugin(s), installed on this website with an active Toolset subscription too, you can follow the steps suggested in the following link:
https://wpml.org/errata/toolset-plugin-cannot-connect-to-toolset-com-warning-even-if-toolset-is-not-installed/

However, If Toolset was never used on the website, this can be a false positive and you can visit WP Admin -> Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial(tab) and use the 'Check of updates' option.

If you don't get any error, the notice should disappear.

In some cases, it may appear due to conflict with firewalls. So you may need to whitelist WPML URLs. Please check the following documentation for more details:

https://wpml.org/faq/troubleshooting-registration/#wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org

https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/

I hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

regards,
Waqar
