All products are imported by WP-Allimport. Everything worked fine, but now (since an update?) there is a mess with the foreign languages.
The german shop site works as expected, but the foreign not. The shop menu in the side bar respects the product categories, but when
selecting a submenu entry there are no results found for a foreign language. Also the product name isn´t translated. The translated meta
information is imported and not translated by WPML. The article number is only found in German and doesn´t work for the other languages.

Hi,

Before one of my colleagues takes a better look at what is happening, here are some general steps that might help you resolve the issue:

There could be a few reasons for this, and we can go through some steps to diagnose and hopefully resolve the issue.

Update WPML and Add-ons: Ensure you are using the latest versions of WPML and any add-ons, such as WooCommerce Multilingual and WPML All Import. An update may resolve issues caused by incompatibilities between versions.

Check WPML Configuration: Verify that WPML is configured correctly for translating WooCommerce products. This includes proper settings within WPML for product post types and taxonomies. You can check the WPML documentation for configuring WooCommerce Multilingual for more guidance.

Permalinks: Go to 'Settings' > 'Permalinks' and re-save the settings. This can sometimes resolve issues with URLs and product visibility.

Synchronization: Ensure that the product translations are correctly synchronized. In WooCommerce Multilingual, go to the 'Products' tab and check if there are any warnings about the original products and their translations. Use the provided options to synchronize attributes, terms, and stock quantities.

WP-All Import Settings: Check your WP-All Import settings to ensure that the import process is configured to handle translations correctly. There may be settings specific to how WPML handles translations that need to be adjusted.

Translate Product Slugs: If the product slugs are not being translated, this could be why the links do not work in other languages. WPML allows you to translate slugs for products which you can find in the WooCommerce Multilingual settings page.

Troubleshooting Tools: Use WPML's troubleshooting tools (located in 'WPML' > 'Support' > 'Troubleshooting') to clear any potential issues with strings and translations.

Debugging: Enable debugging to see if any PHP errors affect the translations. You can turn on WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file.

Check Translated Meta Information: Since you mentioned that the translated meta information is imported directly and not translated by WPML, ensure the data is assigned correctly to the translated products and the language is correctly set.

If, after checking all the above the issue is still not resolved, please provide more detailed information such as:

A description of how the products and translations were imported (what settings and options were used).
Screenshots of WP-All Import settings related to WPML.
Any error messages you might be seeing.
You can troubleshoot these issues, and if you still encounter problems, you can reply with additional details or reach out for further assistance. Make sure to provide as much detail as possible, so we can help you more effectively.
