Background of the issue:
I want to translate a template of my website using the site editor. I followed this documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-content-created-using-gutenberg-editor/translating-sites-that-use-full-site-editing/ .
Symptoms:
The translation shows a very old version of the original site instead of mirroring the main language.
Questions:
Why does the translation show an old version of the site?
How can I ensure the translation mirrors the main language?

Hi there
Were you able to investigate this further? If it seems difficult, let me know so we can find another solution (e. g. building the page as a normal page instead of using a template).
Thanks

Hello,
Take kindly note that we need to make sure that the expected worflow was followed.
I see you are trying to want to translate a template of my website using the site editor.
IMPORTANT:
Block Theme templates can not get translated using the Site Editor.
You will need to use WPML Translation Management and translate the templates with the WPML Translation Editor instead.
Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-content-created-using-gutenberg-editor/translating-sites-that-use-full-site-editing/#translating-the-site-editor-templates
Could you please confirm if following the suggested workflow solves the issue?
If not, please try using this workaround:
https://wpml.org/errata/template-is-not-applied-to-translated-page/
If you need further assistance after that, please let us know.
Best regards
Andreas
